1. What does aggregation mean?
Account aggregation is a process that electronically “connects” to your financial institutions then updates investment account balances, holdings and liabilities on a nightly basis. The updated account information is automatically uploaded into your financial plan and can be used to identify issues and service you proactively through alerts and recommendations.
2. How does eFinancial Connections differ from other wealth management programs?

4. How does this technology address security issues?
The platform’s hosting infrastructure has been designed with the highest level of security, and backup disaster recovery to protect your information. To ensure the security of your information, the platform employs a multi-layered Internet Security technology with the latest intrusion prevention technology and maintains a state-of-the art physical security facility with multiple access security checkpoints to reach the physical equipment hosting the application. 5. How is the privacy of my information protected?
The security of your personal data is held in the highest regard. A state-of-the-art system has been designed and deployed to protect your information. When information is sent via the web site, a secure session via an encrypted technology is established, which prevents unauthorized persons from viewing any such information. Your personal data is restricted to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you.
 
6. Who assigns my User ID and Password?
All users (advisors and clients) must change their passwords the first time they attempt to log in. The logon screen will provide fields for users to supply an email address (if one has not been previously entered) and a response to a new Security Question. This security response will be used to validate a user’s identity in the event of a forgotten password and then email the user a new, temporary password which the user must change when logging into a password only he or she knows.
